Le mot juste -
Raindrops on a dry
field.

I am
a flat field, receiving
raindrops.

  1. Kris

I love the bilingual wit and the meaning of this one – but I think it might be overly constrained by its form.
Would “raindrops / on a dry field” work? Or is there a more strikingly poetic way of expressing it for you?

  2. Thanks for the suggestion, Kris. What do you think about:

    Le mot juste -
    Raindrops on a dry
    field.

  3. Was –
    Le mot juste -
    A dry field receives
    raindrops.

Right thing, right place, right time!?:)

  5. Ah, to learn anew, to be in the right place or time . . . sometimes!
