the snow to evening ice -
We’ve slipped so far.

  1. slipped so far…hmmm
i perceive a sense of sadness as well although you may not have. ;)

  2. slipped yet again
    into that precipice-
    saved by a log

  3. haikuexpeditions – Yes, the sadness.

Gautami – To be saved – by a log? I’ll take the log.

  4. Slipped into a nice haiku

  5. Nice reflection and feeling of movement :-)

  6. jack cutler

This isn’t really a haiku, as a haiku has 3 lines – the 1st and the 3rd lines must have 5 syllables, and the 2nd line must have 7.
