That hawks don’t care for haiku –
Too spiritual!?:)
P.s. Hawks or haiku, or both?!:)
Even 17 syllables is too long, for a hawk!

Changed “turns” to “circles back” in line 2
For hawks of haiku
the seventeen syllables
is a true bird-cage!?:)
Circles back works better.
BTW, the hawks in the human world too don’t care for haiku. For that matter any kind if poetry. Maybe they should…
