That’s how it is here, when there’s an inversion layer – we have an interstate right over the ridge to the west.
This road certainly isn’t an interstate. More like a county route. It is amazing how much more the sound travels in the early morning. I find the sound of an accelerating motorcycle at a distance rather unsettling.
